His 19-year venture capital record includes serving alongside Francis Ho as Co-Head of Samsung Catalyst Fund. He was previously a partner at Panorama Capital and JP Morgan Partners and holds eight patents as the primary inventor. Early in his career, Shankar was an engineer at Applied Materials and attended Indian Institute of Technology, IT-BHU (B.Tech.), Arizona State University (M.S) and The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (MBA).
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy travelling, long bike rides, and hilly runs.
