Inphi delivers high-speed networks that move data around the world, fast. As a fabless semiconductor company, Inphi allows customers to build high-performance communication systems both between and inside data centers. Their integrated circuits optimize power, performance, and size, boosting efficiency and reducing cost.

Established in 2001, the company offers semiconductor components and optical subsystems that allow big data to be moved at speed
on a global scale.

Lip-Bu Tan invested in Inphi in 2002, joining the Board of Directors. He subsequently recruited Young Sohn as CEO in 2007, also adding Francis Ho to Inphi’s team. Thanks to their efforts, the company grew from 30 to 200 employees and won top global customers in server memory (Samsung) and networking (Cisco). Inphi was listed on
the New York Stock Exchange in 2010.
